Chase built up one of his new red frames. I shot some pictures of his bike and him riding it. You can find them here.

Hellloooooooooo. I’m back from an almost two month break. I don’t really know what happened but I just didn’t feel like doing anything until now. I went to Mable Davis for the second time in my life and got some photos of the Smith brothers. Ryan was jumping the pyramid long ways and tobogganed it. He had to haul ass through a grass field then a gate opening and swerve around the bowl to get speed for it. He also does sweet tireslides in the bowl. Dylan did some high airs in the deep end of the bowl. It was getting sketchy because there was a storm coming in and it was super windy. Some of my friends from Georgia came in town and I shot a photo of Burden jumping the wedge gap out of the park. A long time ago I was walking through the woods with Tony and we came across this natural rock lipped creek jump. Tony ended up jumping it a couple of times. The landing ws pretty much mud so the first time he just went straight over the bars after he landed. He finally pulled it though. Tony Neyer came into town to help Chad Shackelford move to Austin. For some reason whenever we try to shoot something he wrecks real bad. This time it was on this square rail. He double pegged it first. Then tried to feeble it and ended up on the ground. Maybe next time Tony. Here are a couple of photos of Chase at 9th Street. Signature 360 table and 360 x up. The other night after a heavy bar session Chase and I decided to bet money on 180s off our front porch. I was going for it but could not roll out for my life and kept on eating shit. Chase pulled his first try. What a dick. My 15 year old dog got his foot run over by a car the other day. The person didn’t even stop to see if he was ok. Take my strong hand child. Here is a video clip of Aaron doing a ridiculous street line. Get ready for a new update format in the near future. Who is this?

So once again I have been slacking on updating with some pictures. I don’t even have that many pictures to update with. I have been busy shooting photos for ads and stuff and not updates on here. I do have some photos from the Empire ramp again.
Chase Hawk:
Opposite ally oop opposite table
Danny Hickerson:
Hanson Little:
Sean Sexton:
Empire has a new Signature Kevin Porter shirt for sale. Go check out Adam’s site for details. Awhile ago we noticed that when Tony has a black eye and mustache he looks like Willie D from the Geto Boys. Here is Tony skating the newly painted ramp. Look for pictures of the other side in an upcoming Empire ad that I shot. I actually met Bushwick Bill during SXSW. Would you look at her? Hopefully more updates soon.

Aaron quit bmx and only rides mountain bikes now. Not really, but he did get second in a mountain bike contest with Taj. As you can see on the opening page Chase can go high. He also does no handers. We went and rode We$stlake the other day and I only got a couple of pictures of Tony. He hopped and pedal grinded this sign. Here is Tony’s and Clint Reynolds versions of the tabletop at the eastside trails. That’s all I got, byeeeee.

The Ryan and Dylan Smith interview came out in the new RideUK. I have some pictures that are left over from the article. In the article Ryan did a wallride down these stairs he 360d. He also double tired this 17 stair ledge. This is a second angle of Dylan doing curved wallride to 360 no hander. Here he does a fakie whip on a bank at a bank. I also shot a picture of Aaron with his NORA cup filled up with a sno cone. It was used in an Odyssey ad for the new Electronical video. It is winter which means that there is a mass migration of bikers to Austin. Jeff Klugiewicz stayed at our house and even though I am very lazy I managed to get a couple of shots of Jeff at this ditch. He aired out barspin and toboggan. Tony Cardona and Randy Taylor have been living in our house for the last 2 months ago. The other night we went to the Empire ramp to shoot some photos. We make Randy do a flair a day instead of paying rent. Here he is paying rent. He can also do turndowns. It is also funny to mess with Randy. Like this day we completely covered his bike in Sunday Stickers. We made him some custom mag wheels. Aaron rides for Sunday bikes now if you didn’t know. Here is his new bike. Tony has been working at the bar that Adam and I work at and making some nice confetti piles. In between his new busy work shcedule he still manages to find time to ride. Here he does an ally oop table and a wild looking barspin to fakie. Here is an older picture of him riding at 9th street. Dennis “The Champ” Dombrow recently entered his first MMA fight in Chicago and won in 2 min. In between training he goes back to his roots, riding some wood. I am going to end this with a picture of 3 rails I want someone to do this year. They are all within 100 feet of each other. Git-r-done.
Comments(13)Being in Nature is so Natural - January 10th 2008
It’s been awhile, old friends. I finally got all my flashes fixed and took some photos for an update. I went to 5-hip for the first time in years and shot some photos with Chase and Aaron. There is a new tight quarterpipe set up that Chase rode like a corner pocket. He did a table, 360 to fakie, and no hander on it. Aaron did his mandatory whip at the spot with a downside whip over the hip. We also shot some photos at the new trails in town. I don’t know exactly what they are called but I heard someone say they are called the eastside trails. I’ve never seen such good trails in real life before. Thanks to all the guys that dig there for letting me shoot photos at their spot. Chase was killing it like usual. We first shot some photos on the second to last jump. He was doing tuck threes that looked like he was going upside down. He was also doing 360 xups that were looking soo sweet. After he was done with that jump we shot on the last big hip. He is pretty good. I also got this photo of Geoff Slattery doing a turndown on it.

I had to send off some of my flashes to be fixed. So I decided to take out my film camera and shoot some 3200 speed film I had laying around. I made a new page with some of my favorites from the roll. There might be a picture of Chase Hawk doing a tailwhip!!! I am pretty psyched on how they came out. Here is a link to them. Tell me what you think. Thanks byeeeee.

For some reason I have a lot of sequences to post today. I don’t even like shooting sequences but whatever. This one is over a year old, SPRING BREAAAAKK. I was saving it to use for a magazine or something but it just never got used. Danny Hickerson effortless double peg to jumpover. If you watch skate videos then you might have seen Gareth Stehr polish ollie the same spot, crazy. Here is his part from the new foundation video, check out 1:13. I don’t know how you could talk shit about Joel Moody’s riding, he has so much front wheel control it doesn’t make sense. Here is some proof. Just remember he was winning dirt and street contests in 98′. I obviously have some photos of Aaron to post too. He claims he’s not a good ramp rider, but then he does things like this. Here he does a flat rail to jump over. Here is a still shot of the same trick. This is why he can bunnyhop so high. I guess nobody wants to buy these Fly cranks for $150. So i am now selling them for $125. Take it and love it. Also check out my photo on defgrip. RIP Pimp C.
Comments(7)Plumb the depths! The depths of hell! - November 21st 2007
I have another update with pictures of Aaron Ross only. I took these pics with him two months ago and somehow forgot to post them. He reminded me yesterday so here they are. We went and rode campus that night and he sessioned this little ledge ride to gap. Then he did a toboggan. After that he did a barspin. He was then trying to do 180 whips over it and after landing to the pedals locked up and fell over backwards and got a flat. So he never actually rolled out of the 180 whip but I’m using the picture anyways. Before that we went to a railhop that he wanted to do. There was a wall in front of the handicap ramp so you had to thread the needle to get to it. He got it done though. On the way downtown on Halloween Aaron feebled his favorite ledge in his suit costume. In non biking news I got a sweet new dog. Him and Cody are new best friends. I named him Larry after the funniest old man ever, Larry David. Also, I have a brand new pair of Fly cranks that I am selling for $150 plus shipping. The color of them is “Dirty Green” and they are 175mm. I will sell them to the first person to email me.
